BRIGHTS project at EDULEARN 2018 International Conference in Palma de Mallorca (Spain)

The BRIGHTS project was successfully presented at EDULEARN18, the 10th annual International Conference on Education and New Learning Technologies, in Palma de Mallorca (Spain) on the 3rd of July 2018.

EDULEARN is one of the largest international education conferences for lecturers, researchers, technologists and professionals from the educational sector. More than 800 experts from 80 countries met in Palma de Mallorca to present their projects and share their knowledge on teaching and learning methodologies and educational innovations.

Two different papers focused on the BRIGHTS project results were presented during the conference by the project partner Achilles Kameas of DAISSy Research Group of Hellenic Open University:

  • Educating Global Citizens with the help of a MOOC” presented during the session “Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC)” in collaboration with the project coordinator Barbara Quarta of ALL DIGITAL
  • Towards the development of 21st Century Skills today for the Global Citizens of tomorrow” presented during the session “21Century Skills”

Project leaflets and the BRIGHTS Info Kit on GCE were distributed to the participants of both sessions. The audience showed great interest in the project, posing questions about its status and the contents of the MOOC.
